Who’s the average VR porn viewer?
Award-winning VR porn site BaDoinkVR [NSFW] recently released an infographic showcasing stats on the folks who watch their immersive content. And some of the figures might surprise you.
For instance, while 94% of its viewers are men, 30% of total users downloaded videos recorded from the female point of view. I mean what better way to understand another gender’s experience of sex than with virtual reality? Sure, adult entertainment is often a performance. But as more and more studios enter the VR market, we’ll get a greater pick of diverse and amateur content. We’ll be able to step into many other people’s erotic moments and live them as if they were our own.
The infographic also gives details on what devices people use to watch VR porn, their ages, locations, and how much money they make. The data only covers BaDoinkVR users in 2016, but it gives an interesting snippet of what early adopters look like.
